Good Jeans: Destroyed denim dress & Thigh high peep toes

This weather is playing games with me! Some days it’s as warm as a Spring day that I forget that it really isn’t lol. On one of those days, I wore this destroyed denim dress and luckily paired it with these thigh high peep toe boots.
I love this dress, though it might be a little too risqué for some not only due to the cut out details that can expose some of your lady bits if you’re not careful, but also because of the length. Just in case you didn’t notice, this dress is well above the knees. It is definitely the shortest dress I have worn since my teenage years but the thigh highs kept me modest.
Now, let’s get into this boot. As much as I would love to tell you guys that it is amazing and all that jazz, it really isn’t. It is frustrating and very annoying to have your boots sliding down your thighs every two minutes and jokes aside, that is what you’ll deal with if you’re wearing this boot, at least that’s what I dealt with. So if you’ve found the perfect thigh high boots for a thick thighed sister, please let me know and I’ll bake you a cookie, I promise.

Shein Plus Sizes: Off Shoulder Ruffles

Hey hey! How you doin?
I’m rounding up my Shein series with this sexy number right here, this off shoulder tiered dress. I love this dress y’all! I love the tiered ruffles, I think it elevates this dress from just being an off shoulder dress. Like I said in my previous post, I was also surprised by the fabric quality of this dress,  you guys know how much I hate slinky fabrics but this dress is made from a pretty sturdy knit fabric that is well suited for the plus size figure.
I kept to the sexy vibe of this dress and paired it with an animal print pumps and bag.

Shein Plus Sizes: Peplum Blazer Dress

Hey hey! Ever heard of Shein? I had vaguely heard about this brand but I had no idea that they carried plus size, talk even less of having such a wide variety of plus items. So imagine my surprise when this brand reached out to me to try out some of their items. Let’s just say that I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased by their offerings.
First thing first, Shein has to be one of the most affordable brands out there now for sure. And I must admit that for the prices, I was very nervous about the quality of the products but like I said, I was very pleasantly surprised because the quality of the items I received actually rivals some of the pricier brands that I patronize.
Another thing i was worried about was the sizing, but I erred on the side of caution and went up a size for my items.
This blazer is one of the items I received. Although I refer to it as a blazer, it is marketed as a dress on the website just so you know but from the get go, I knew there was no way I was ever going to wear it as a dress so I styled it with a maxi skirt. I absolutely love the peplum details on this blazer/dress, super comfortable without losing any fashion points.
I definitely give a stamp of approval to this brand, just be cautious with the sizing is my word of advice.
Use my code roadto20 for 20% off when you spend $59 or more! Trust me, that’ll go a long way.

Crushin’ On Orange

Hello!!!
I know, I know, I am horrible at consistency, but trust me when I say that I am working on it! Life just isn’t making it easy for me to be consistent with producing content. But right now, things have slowed down a bit so expect consistency from hence forth! (Yeah yeah, I know lol)
Today’s look is an unexpected one, as much as I plan my outfits in my head most times, this is one that never occurred to me until the second I pulled it out of the closet. As much as I love co-ords, it is not a surprise that I love this unexpected pair together. I played with a bit of layering, which I am horrible at since I just can’t seem to keep my layers looking even and symmetrical but I think I pulled it off this time, didn’t I? This white vest was a last minute decision that I’m glad i made because it just added the extra touch that this outfit needed, classy with a little bit of edge.

With Love Creed

Hello world! I know I have been MIA lately but I’m working on it I promise!
So, I’m making my comeback with this super mini valentine’s day lookbook, courtesy of Shop Creed which is an online based plus size brand that really caught my eye. When they reached out to me to style some of their items, I was thrilled and just in case you’ve never heard of this brand, allow me to introduce you.

Just an FYI, if you’re afraid of some attention, then this brand is not for you but if you’re like me, and you don’t mind being the belle of the ball, then you should check out this brand. Every piece is appeals to the bombshell in me that’s for sure. I was sent the Victoria dress and the Carolina Olive set to try and I must say, it was a pleasure.
The Victoria dress definitely hooked a lot of over the shoulder looks because it is a daring piece. With a high thigh slit and body conscious fit, but the strategically placed ruffles also help with concealing the tummy area so I loved it for that reason.

And the Carolina olive set is a gem, because it is multifunctional. You can dress it up like i did for dinner or pair it with some sneakers for a casual movies but still walk in feeling like a super star due to the simmering fabric.
