Sexy Floral

I love the concept of easy glam, I really do but sometimes it’s not that easy to pull off! Fortunately, there are some fail proof clothing items that will never steer you wrong and a classic body conscious dress is one of those. It is one versatile item that can be worn casual or dressed up like I did here. Wear it with heels, sandals or like my super chic photographer Crystal, wear it with sneakers. 

I absolutely love the racerback detail of this dress and combined with the classic floral print it was a guaranteed hit for me. And shocker, this dress is less than $12!

DENIM LOVIN’

It is no secret by now that my I don’t do casual very well unfortunately, I tend to dress to the nines. Yes, I am that girl walking the grocery store aisles with a tutu skirt and heels. Don’t get me wrong, I do casual occassionally but I do love to dress up. For that reason, I have never been a big fan of denim. But thankfully, denim has evolved to a point where it is not restricted to being casual. 

 Rainbow Shops got it right with this super chic and super comfy jeans, it is super light and stretchy just how I like it. Also gotta love the ripped details and the frayed hem. It is definitely one of my fave jeans right now. I paired it with this chambray off shoulder top that has these tie sleeve detail.

CLASSIC WITH A TWIST

I love clothing pieces that surprise me. Like a simple, classic black pant but turn to the side and it’s got these edgy cut out details. I kept to the classic theme with this equally amazing crisp white shirt with a cold shoulder detail.

Mellow Yellow

Structures, sleeveless jackets always get my attention, always. I just love how that one piece can pull any outfit together. Take for example this look, just a very basic black turtleneck sweater and black culottes. Throw this gorgeous yellow jacket over it and viola, it takes it from grocery store run to boardroom ready.

Hibernate

Agreed. It has been long enough for it to seem like I’ve been hibernating since the season changed. No excuses, it’s been crazy but let’s get back on track shall we?

Welcome, my good ole faithfuls and the newbies! I have decided to start my new year off a bit late I know, but here I am. So it might not be news to some, but I occasionally dabble in the sewing arts. One of my projects last year resulted in this super gorgeous lilac turtleneck, cut out midi dress that I just absolutely adore. And since colorful jackets are another obsession of mine, I paired it with this gorgeous pale pink coat for a colorful Olivia Pope look.
