One Piece Wonder

Fresh off my trip to Vegas, I am all about one piece wonders. One piece wonders are easy to pack, easy to wear and easy to style. I received this one piece wonder from Gwynnie Bee for a Summer campaign showcasing easy to wear and pack vacation pieces. This jumpsuit was definitely one of the pieces in my Vegas luggage. I styled this jumpsuit with sneakers for traveling, just because I am all about comfort when I travel. I also styled it with some strappy heels for night. 

For those of you who don’t know much or anything about Gwynnie Bee, basically think of them as an unending closet. They have pieces from a wide variety of designers and brands and as a member, every month you can get some of these items in your closet for a flat fee. 

Gwynnie Bee is one of a kind in our plus size world and I honestly think you’ll be seeing some of their items on this blog.

Peplum Statement

Hello world! 

So, there is nothing I love more than a versatile piece of clothing that you can wear in multiple ways. I’ll tell you a secret, this peplum “top” is actually a peplum mini dress. And since I am not a big fan of mini dresses on myself, I decided to pair it with a maxi pencil skirt and was pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. Simple yet elegant.

Yes guys, the perfect skirt does exist! And it has been on heavy rotation since I picked it up last year at curvy con. You might have noticed that I am a skirt/dress kinda girl and there is no item i love more than a beautiful specialty skirt. The tropical print, the frontal flap, the length, everything just fits perfectly. I paired this look with bright neon heels and an old custom made crop top.

PERFECTION IN SHIFT

Happy independence weekend! Hope you have a bunch of festivities planned for the weekend cos I’ll be indoors getting accustomed to my new unit in the hospital, boo hoo. But in the meantime, I found another great denim shift dress again from Fashion to Figure. Remember this other denim shift dress here? I love them both and they’re both from the FTF.
