First things first, CurvyCon was awesome!!! If you missed it this year, try to go next year. It was a beautiful gathering of gorgeous, ambitious women and it was amazing to be among a welcoming, awesome group of women. Nicole of
Curves on a Budget posted on her FB page that if you ever need a confidence boost, go to NY and i agree! The love in NY is overflowing lol.
On to my outfit, for CurvyCon, I really wanted something comfortable yet statement. So I went with my trusted full midi skirt (which I own in three colors). This skirt does it for me, from the weight of the fabric to the flattering cut it is just perfect, I have absolutely no complaints. I know I wanted to wear a crop top with this skirt and actually had quite a range of options but I when I saw this cute little “fabric of a top” as my mother called it, I just had to have it. It has a matching skirt but since my tummy and hips don’t lie, it was not big enough to fit (since it is from a straight line).
I finished off this pairing with a high bun and a wide suede choker and my outfit was complete, comfortable yet statement.
