Stripes & Chain: FASHION TO FIGURE LOOKBOOK 2

Stripes are the enemy? Says who? This dress proves that nonsensical theory wrong. It is stripes extravaganza but stripes done right. Definitely one of my favorite sweater dress, the high collar, the shade of blue, just everything.

Coral Crush: Fashion to Figure Lookbook 1

So, I’ve been at sleeping at the hospital for the past four days because of the crazy storm but we healthcare providers know that the people we care for, do not have snow days or holiday so we’ve been working around the clock and sleeping in cots. But its actually really nice getting to see and bond with your coworkers in these situations. Hope you stayed (and are still staying) safe and warm in the severe weather.
Anyway, last week I wrote a Wellness Wednesday feature post for Fashion to Figure on their blog, click here to view. It was a bit of a different post for me since I talked about my weightloss and what prompted it. So, since I love FTF so much, I also did a mini lookbook featuring some of my current favorite pieces from FTF.
Coral captures the essence of Spring so very well and i know this was a little premature but I could not resist this off shoulder peplum top! It also comes in black, for my sleek black lovers. Paired with this wide leg pant, I was comfy chic.

The Insulator

If you live in an area like mine, where we’ve been having crazy cold weather then you need one of these jackets! As much as I love my colorful, oversized, midi jackets, none has ever provided me with as much protection from the cold as this one.
 I was initially worried about looking like a blown up balloon in it, but I think I look cuddly and I like it lol. It’s lightweight, so I don’t have to rush to take it off once I get indoors and its not a burden to carry around. This particular one is by Jessica Simpson and I picked it up from my local TJ Maxx, but I’ll list some other options below.
 Once I have my beloved jacket one, paired with my UGG gloves, I am in no rush to leave the cold.

Longline Blazer

I don’t think it is any secret that I belong to the blazers all day, everyday fan club. But there is just something about a longline blazer that gets me every time. 
Plus turtlenecks are my one of my favorite winter items as they are perfect for layering.
The quick fix to polishing up any look, throw on a longline jacket.
