Dare me: Woven sweater & Pleated Leather

Happy weekend everyone!

I am so cheering to the freaking weekend guys, its been one hell of a week. Long story short, my care broke down, could not be fixed, had to get a new one…and I mean, brand new. No more car messes for me, at least not for the next couple of years.

So, I really contemplated prior to wearing this outfit. I am really comfortable with my body and feel very comfortable wearing what can be called revealing pieces. Though that does not mean that I walk around gloriously naked all day lol. Although i usually stay away from revealing pieces just because it seems to make people around you uncomfortable for some reason I don’t understand. I mean, I’m the one with my titties hanging out, why are you the one blushing? I don’t get it. For this look, I wore it out with some friends and felt amazing in it. Loving this skirt from Fashion to Figure, it looks very pricey and seems to be of really good quality, one of my faves for this winter.

Can you believe it’s already the end of the year?! This year just flew right by! And I am thankful to have made it through this year and I am looking forward to the year to come.

So, I got this skirt from Elle of EatStylePlay at the Shop your closet clothing sale event where we were both vendors. She was in the space right next to me and I spotted this skirt and just had to get . I paired it with this sweater I got from Vivi of Heartprintandstyle at the same event. Yep definitely got loads of great pieces and I can’t wait to show you!

So, I’ve fallen in love with the front slit pencil skirt and since I haven’t found a good one to purchase and haven’t had the time to make myself one, I decided to make do with what I already have. Which is a regular pencil skirt with a slit in the back and I just turned it around, viola! Love how this turned out.

Hello everyone! Happy monday!

Yes, my name is Olà and and I am addicted to black and white…le sigh. I can’t help it, there’s just something about the cold weather that makes me automatically reach for them when I look in my closet. I’ll try (try being the word) to infuse some more colors this winter.

I am not a believer in having completely separate wardrobes for every season. With that in mind, I try to buy pieces that I can easily style in any season. I absolutely love wearing skirts during the colder seasons, paired with the right foundation it just looks so chic to me. I love this polka dotted skirt which I picked up from Fashion to Figure during the summer, it just screams girly and you guys know that I am as girly as they come.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! 

So, I celebrated my birthday on Thursday and I had a pretty tame day (just how I wanted it!) No wild parties for me this year! I just hung out with myself and reflected on the past year and what I want to accomplish for myself in the coming year.

That being said, the main problem that I have with uploading on my blog is my lack of photographers! Everyone is so busy and asking people to take pictures for me has been quite a hassle. So, I have decided to take it into my own hands for now and use my tripod. Hello lovelies, how’ve you been? It’s been a trying week for me. Work has been hectic and blogger has been giving me issues. I lost all of the pictures on my blog and had to go through a major process to get them back. So I apologize to anyone who visited the blog and couldn’t see any pictures. 

This was the outfit I wore to the Shopaholic Suite event this past weekend, with comfortable booties of course for the running around. I got this jumper from Rainbow some weeks ago and I have to admit that I was surprised with the quality. I paired it with a pencil skirt for a sleek look.

Hello lovebugs! Hope you had a great weekend.

My weekend was pretty much work, work and a little bit of fun. I was commissioned for a couple of makeup sessions that had me running around the city but, like they say (whoever they are) when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. And that is so true.  

So, on my last trip to my local Ross, I found this dress which I think is meant to be an evening gown? It had slits on both sides but i sewed those up cos I wanted a sleek, fitted look. I love the fitting on this dress and for my ladies who want a fitted look, I always suggest going one or two sizes down. For example, this is a size xl dress. 

In essence, don’t limit yourself when it comes to shopping for clothing. Just because a particular store/brand only carries certain sizes does not mean that they have nothing for you. Give it try and check out some straight size brands, you might be surprised.
